Some so-called experts would have you believe that certain carbs (like donuts, for example) are bad for you all the time, while others (like oatmeal) are good for you all the time. But it’s not true. Some, refined, quickly digested carbs are good for you certain times and not others. The same is true for high-fiber whole grains. Some carbs are really good for you some of the time, and others are really bad some of the time. You just have to know when your body best tolerates certain carbs and eat the right ones at the right time.
